Looper
Welcome to the cursed project. This is the most frustrating project i have ever had the displeasure to work on. It's a simple concept: you repeat levels and attempt to solve puzzles, using your past actions to help you. This was made for the GMTK game jam 2025, which had a theme of "Loop" - you're stuck in a time loop, trying to escape!
how cool, right? but, on my end, this thing is absolutely cursed. Every single thing in it breaks. I know what your thinking - "hey, bugs happen. stick ith it!" but NO! these aren't normal bugs!!!! If i fix it, it breaks *unrelated systems*! and if i manage to get it all working? load it again and somehow, back to square one!!!!
so, hey, the concept is fun. the implementation is crap. hopefully anyone seeing this can have a bit of fun with it.

Concept seems cool but a lot of things are a bit weird. some polish and fixing unusual behavior and game could be real fun!
yes, i agree some things are off. i have a whole list, lol. but if you can tell me anything you noticed, i'll make sure they get fixed in an update.
My biggest problem probably was the fact that jumping felt inconsistent. like i pressed space bar and it just sometimes didnt jump. if that would be fixed it would be way better
yes. that is on the list. I used a raycast to detect the ground - which i do in a lot of games. but for some reason, it doesn't work here. you can jump multiple times in the air, and sometimes not on the ground... i even working code in from another project, and it didn't work here....
i'm not kidding - this project is absolutely cursed.
